Pregnant at twenty seven or even thirty, there is need to follow all steps of modern day motherhood. Once the girl becomes pregnant, it is the business of all her friends to keep her well nourished and hydrated. They will pass via her hood in shifts to ensure she is okay. They will call her frequently and ensure, she has all that she needs. The girls will do her shopping for baby clothes and keep updated on every clinic visit and every single kick and turn that the baby makes.
As the baby bump grows and our girl becomes heavier, several dates will be marked as important. There will be the photo shoot, gender reveal and baby shower. The budgets for all this functions are crazy . Dressing codes, decor and stuff will be the latest. Helicopter is the transport of choice for some, while others will use the sleekest motors possible. Venue will be high end hotel and the occassion “invite only” All the girlfriends will be there in person, food and drinks will flow freely.
The one that really get in my nerves is the photo shoot. That i have to be totally nude for someone to capture my baby bump is really unnerving. Modern girls don’t find anything wrong with it. They will look at the photos in admiration as they wait their turn to expose more fresh. Woe unto you if show your dislike. You will be branded old and uncultured, jealous, enemy of development and any other applicable vocabulary. Someone help me understand why photo shoot has to be done when nude with just a slash on the bulging stomach? and why it must be published widely in the social medial. I know i am past child bearing age, but frankly speaking, if i found myself pregnant, this is one habit i would avoid like plague. The young generation is too wasteful and too competitive. They will use too much money on such issues, lving the core issue of raising the baby with less resources. I just need to get a life ha ha ha!
