PUBLIC TRANSPORT!

There some dos and don’t while using public transportation. First of all, as you queue waiting for the vehicle, it is your duty to inform the person who is behind you the destination. A person will politely touch your shoulder and ask ” hii line ni ya wapi” meaning where are you queuing to. It is your duty to reply, please. Don’t put a stone face and look away.

When in the queue, don’t bring in your friends to jump the ahead. One person is acceptable but you can really can’t bring ten friends and expect the people not to complain. Some people don’t even excuse themselves. they just come and plant themselves ahead of you as if it is their right. and when you complain, they insult you. The audacity! But i will firmly resist and tell you off.

When in public transport and you feel drowsy, you do it by all means but remember you are in public space. Don’t occupy 80% of the seat encroaching on other people’s space. Mark the boundaries and sleep on your corner. And remember, my shoulder is not an extension of your bed. Don’t lie on the shoulder of your neighbor and start snoring aimlessly! It is rude, you know!

Sometimes, all i want to do is shut my eyes and relax in the public vehicle. We have people who insist on engaging you with tales after tale and keeps laughing uproariously. That is not right . Don’t infringe on peoples right as you tell tales. The worst are the type who will put on tiktok videos without using ear phones. They will keep on laughing and even slapping those near them. It is really rude to laugh uproariously when your neighbor has no idea why you are laughing. Use the ear phones please. And no! don’t show me the videos. What is funny to you may not be funny to me.
